Direct Care and Treatment Services (DCT) is Minnesota's Direct Care Health System. DCT is made up of the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center; Community Based Health Hospitals; Intensive Residential Treatment Centers; Forensic Services; Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) programs; a Children's and Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit, group homes, and the Minnesota Sex Offender Program, serving over 13,000 clients/patients per year.
The Health Equity and Compliance Administrative Assistant provides administrative support, coordination, and operational and analytical assistance to Direct Care and Treatment's (DCT) Health Equity Director and Chief Compliance Officer and serves as a liaison to positions under their supervision, including DCT Health Equity Team and DCT Compliance Team, as well as other key DCT partners.
In this role you will coordinate assignments, assist with incoming/outgoing communications, perform basic project management, create and maintain databases and forms, and maintain SharePoint sites for the respective area. You will serve as liaison to the staff of DCT, stakeholder groups, and other entities, including preparing and handling reports and other communications.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of communications sufficient to answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages, and share information and communicate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
Demonstrated customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt and accurate information in person, on the phone through email and other written or electronic correspondence.
Ability to accurately input, verify, and edit electronic data and check data for completeness, accuracy and discrepancies.
Knowledge of computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create, modify, and protect files.
Skill in Typing/Keyboarding sufficient to produce documents such as emails and other correspondence in an efficient and timelymanner.
Ability to Prepare, edit, and finalize emails, memos, reports, and/or other documents and @types of written communication that are grammatically correct, in proper format, and free of spelling errors
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of the DCT organizational structure
Ability to work independently and on a team, use sound judgment to make decisions, research and resolve problems
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize and coordinate a variety of work activities and schedules in a highly dynamic environment
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures
