Description
We're looking for a proactive Security Administrator to protect our systems and data from cyber threats. You'll implement and monitor security controls, respond to incidents, and ensure a robust security posture. Key Responsibilities:
Configure and manage security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security alerts.
Implement access controls, encryption, and endpoint protection measures.
Conduct regular security audits and patch management.
Assist in incident response, including analysis and remediation.
Document security configurations and maintain compliance records.
Educate staff on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Requirements
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or systems administration.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners.
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS).
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
Ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
