Specialists provide support to brokers on individual and government
lines. They also support brokers and internal partners with sales
processes, systems, and tools, while performing direct sales activities
within line(s) of business.
This position has flexibility as a hybrid work location (3 days in
office, 2 days work from home), and requires a local presence in the
assigned Idaho territory. The Specialist can be based in these Idaho
cities: Coeur d\'Alene, Idaho Falls, Meridian, or Twin Falls. #LI-Hybrid
Required License: State of Idaho Resident License or must obtain
within 120 day of hire
Required Travel: May occasionally travel, and/or attend offsite
events during and outside of standard work hours
Required Experience: 5/+ years health industry, marketing, sales,
communications, product/program development, or related experience.
Experience should span:
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Strong Customer Service skills; familiarity and comfort level
working phone queues or call center is helpful in this role
Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce is ideal
Previous Blues or other insurance-related experience is ideal
Your day may look like:
Provides support to brokers on individual and government lines or
other filed product lines, including enrollment, eligibility
inquiries, direct sales or renewals.
Supports brokers and internal partners in administrative areas such
as order processing, sales quotes, sales information management, and
product training.
Responsible for case-specific sales support processes. Interacts
with internal teams in coordinating renewals/retention, provides
support in resolving daily service issues, and refers sales leads to
brokers.
Provides product education through various means including
compliance and regulatory requirements and updates related to the
product.
May support content creation and deliver presentations to brokers
and internal partners.
Performs direct sales activities to sell or renew contracts to
increase membership.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay
range is: \$58,727 - \$82,219. The position is eligible for an annual
incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee
performance). The pay range for this position takes into account a wide
range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies,
relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience,
skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal
equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with
market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual
to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation
decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of
offer.
