Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Provides administrative assistance to the Endoscopy Department
Responsibilities:
Duties are carried out with the ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to projects or assignments.
Organizes meetings including distributing materials, catering requests and transcribing minutes.
Helps coordinate special meetings and events as requested, which may include travel and lodging arrangements in a timely manner.
Manages scheduling of room reservations for meetings.
Types correspondence, reports, memoranda, special projects, policies, committee minutes, manuals, letters forms, procedures and related material for department(s) as requested.
Ensures that written communication is clear, grammatically correct, proofread and approved and prior to final distribution
Receives, handles and transfers phone calls and messages within the department and the system promptly and courteously
Qualifications
Minimum:
Medical terminology or experience.
Secretarial/Receptionist experience in a healthcare setting.
Must possess excellent written and verabal communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm Excellent general office skills with the ability to compose correspondence/memoranda.
Pay Range
$22.95 - $33.28 /hour
