DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Student Intern will support both the Basic Life Support Coordinator and the Administrative Assistant within the Education Services Department. The internship is designed for high school juniors or seniors who are interested in gaining hands-on experiences in a healthcare administrative setting. The intern will assist with various administrative tasks that contribute to the coordination and execution of training programs related to basic life support, employee educational learning needs, and additional administrative responsibilities such as data collection, special projects, and performance improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
Attention to detail, decisive and analytical
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Personal
Professional appearance
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to take responsibility for completing assigned projects/tasks in a timely manner.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
