Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a full-time
Remote Medical Administrative Assistant at the Lt. Col. John W. Mosely VA
Clinic in Aurora, CO.
Details:
Full Time
Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
No nights, weekend or holidays
*Remote: Contractor personnel may work 100% of the time in a non-VA-owned
space within a 50 mile radius of any of Colorado our locations.
Job Requirements
Have a High School education or GED equivalent
Basic computer skills
Type at least 50 WPM
Basic medical terminology knowledge
Minimum 6 months customer service experience
Core Duties:
Outpatient Scheduling and Process and Procedures.
Front desk duties which may vary at each location depending on the clinic's
needs.
Coordinates and authorizes Veteran care with community providers that the VA
does not supply
Works with Lead Scheduler to achieve all patient communications are completed
on time
Screens/receives phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
Responds to telephone inquiries regarding delivery of services.
Daily computer use of Microsoft office products to include Excel, Word,
Outlook &Microsoft Teams.
Perform appointment scheduling, tracking, pre and post- appointments
contacts as required
Performs quality customer service for all patients; patient families; VA
Staff, contractors, physicians, fellows, residents.
Compensation: $46,00 to $48,000/year.
