Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our team in Berkeley, California. This role primarily involves working in a medical setting, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also be tasked with processing insurance authorizations and managing patient schedules.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing patient check-in procedures and registration
Processing insurance authorization requests efficiently
Handling high volumes of incoming patient calls with patience and professionalism
Maintaining precise records of patient medical history and appointments
Balancing multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure efficient clinic operations
Demonstrating problem-solving skills to find resolutions to any issues that may arise during clinic hours
Scheduling patient appointments in accordance with their treatment plans
Verifying patient eligibility for specific medical treatments or procedures
Managing patient account details and intake processes
Exhibiting integrity when handling sensitive patient information. Requirements - Proficiency in handling Medical Records
Experience in providing Administrative Assistance
Knowledge of Patient Account management
Ability to manage Patient Check-in process
Understanding of Patient Eligibility determination
Experience in managing Patient Intake procedures
Proficiency in handling Patient Medical Records

Experience in Patient Scheduling
Ability to Schedule Patient Appointments
Experience in Insurance Authorization
Ability to Obtain Authorizations
