Lead Member of Technical Staff needed by ATandT Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to develop and certify Layer 1-4 technologies on multiple vendor hardware and software platforms based on customized or generic designs. Identify and define software and hardware problems and develop viable solutions and alternatives. Use system utilities and automation to effectively resolve hardware and software problems. Work closely with Hardware and Software vendors to identify and fix bugs. Perform detail Root Cause Analyses and bug validation in certification lab environments. Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issues. Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, administer, monitor, and maintain various Network operating systems, associated software, virtual management systems, servers, networking, clustering, storage, and software applications for architectures supporting a variety of virtualization technologies. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in IP Routing Protocols: MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, BGP-LU, BGP-UC, EVPN, Static, OSPF, ISIS, RSVP, Multicast, Vlan, RIP, FIB, L2/L3-VPNs, SNMP, Telemetry. Utilize Networking Technologies: TCP/UDP, VxLAN, VPCs, NAT, DNS, QoS, CoS, BGP FlowSpec, VRFs, TACACS, BFD, Security, Netflow, TWAMP, Route-reflectors, Route groups, Hub and Spoke. Employ Virtualized Network Functions Technologies: VNFs, KVM and VMware and containerization platforms:OpenStack, Heat templates, Docker, and Kubernetes. Work with DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, influxdb, Git and Jira. Perform Scripting using Python, Shell, TCL, Perl, and Selenium automation. Configure IXIA and Spirent test equipment. Design, test, and implement multi-level Network platform technology systems.
