Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with expertise in Bamboo HR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and handling payroll-related inquiries. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, employee benefits, and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees using Bamboo HR software.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and adjustments.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2s and other payroll-related documentation.
Support HR and Finance teams with payroll reporting and analysis as needed.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of payroll information.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with hands-on experience using Bamboo HR software.
In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with employees and management.
Preferred:
Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
