Job Title: Project Administrator
Job Description
The Project Administrator assists in the preparation and administration of the project safety plan, manages project controls and procedures, and oversees established risk mitigation processes. This role involves creating and following through on potential change items and participating in the verification of project financial forecasts. The Project Administrator supports subcontracting strategy, ensures the integrity of the buyout process, implements and enforces contract aspects, and prepares draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders. Additionally, this role participates in insurance and bond enrollment, tracks trade contractors' compliance, and supports project estimate development and design coordination efforts. Monthly schedule updates, including schedule analysis and narratives for select packages, are also part of the role. The Project Administrator conducts constructability and coordination reviews, develops networking strategies, trains direct reports, manages workload and performance, and fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparation and administration of the project safety plan.
Manage project controls and procedures, and oversee established risk mitigation processes.
Create and follow through on potential change items and verify project financial forecasts.
Support subcontracting strategy, ensure integrity of the buyout process.
Implement and enforce contract aspects; prepare draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
Participate in insurance and bond enrollment; track trade contractors' compliance.
Provide support for project estimate development and design coordination efforts.
Prepare monthly schedule updates, including schedule analysis and narratives for select packages.
Conduct constructability and coordination reviews.
Develop networking strategies based on local market areas and profiles.
Train direct reports on processes, procedures, and daily tasks.
Manage workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members.
Work closely with onsite equipment planner and field crew for material and equipment planning.
Collaborate with field and labor crew on project planning and projections.
Work with operations lead and schedule and implement training for all workers.
Monitor team attendance and maintain records.
Control inventory and distribution of PPE, schedule fittings for hazard gear.
Monitor and maintain equipment including labeling, inventory, rentals, maintenance, and inspections.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience in construction, commercial projects, and administrative skills.
Commitment to long-term administrative work in construction.
Interest in starting as a Project Admin with potential growth into an Entry Level Project Engineer.
Construction management, coordination, and scheduling skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $77.00/hr.
