System One is seeking Electrical I&C Engineers for a long-term contract role to work in cross-disciplinary teams on client projects involving design, modification and analysis with primary focus on design of modifications to the electrical, instrumentation and control systems in various power generation facilities throughout the country. You will support project teams involved in all aspects of electrical design, including I&C specifications and selection, preparation of engineering packages and technical reports to support client requirements. Occasional travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for installation coordination and field verification of designs required. We offer a flexible hybrid WFH/Office schedule.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or related field of study from ABET accredited school.
Engineer Level (E2/E3) - 3-7 years of progressively responsible practical work experience in design engineering or power generation field. Prior nuclear experience highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Excel skills required.
Proficiency with CAD Software.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e. without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future).
