Job Description:
Our client manages energy efficiency programs and is seeking an
energetic Call Center Customer Service Representative (CSR) to educate
and inform residential, commercial, and industrial customer,
contractors, and raters by answering incoming calls, responding to
emails, and making outbound calls to utility customers that have
expressed interest in participating in energy efficiency programs.
Receive and log incoming calls, emails, physical mail, transfer
calls, document project application information and send
acknowledgments to customers and contractors.
Re-route calls and emails to appropriate program staff.
Answer customer and contractor calls using standardized scripts and
call center software.
Using excellent communication skills and a positive attitude,
address customer and contractor inquiries while operating within a
dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Update and maintain accurate data via CRM systems, to include but
not limited to: Customer contact information, project details and
notes, and scheduling information.
Coordinate and track the details for multiple on-going projects in
various stages.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements?
Residency in the state of New Jersey
3+ years administrative assistant, customer service representative,
or related experience
High school diploma/GED
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools (i.e., Outlook, Excel,
Word, SharePoint, Teams).
Able to communicate in written and verbal English clearly and
effectively.
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks to meet short
turnaround times while adhering to strict quality control
standards.
Ability to multitask and work independently as well as effectively
within a team environment.
Flexible, attentive, and responsive to changing operational
procedures and customer needs.
Must be willing to work a non-standard work shift if required.
DESIRED SKILLS
Demonstrates strong computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft
Office and internet searches. Ability to quickly learn proprietary
software.
Experience using a CRM or similar system to track customer and/or
project details.
Possesses strong organizational skills and the ability to meet
deadlines. Ability to identify opportunities for process
improvement and use creative problem-solving skills to make
recommendations.
Basic knowledge of real estate building @types including residential,
multifamily and/or commercial buildings
Ability to understand, interpret, and apply technical information.
Detail orientated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work with minimal
direction.
Previous experience in energy efficiency and/or utility sector.
May be expected to draft call scripts and training documents.
Bilingual English/Spanish speaking experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE MINIMUM
3+ years administrative assistant, customer service representative, or
related experience
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED or Advanced education such as Associates,
Bachelor's, or higher degree in Business Management, Business
Administration, Communication, or related field.
