Summary :
The Specialist plays a role in supporting the Production Team by handling administrative tasks, coordinating internal and external audits, managing inventory and asset processes, and assisting with scheduling downtime to meet production goals. This position ensures the standardization and organization of documentation within the Formation Department while also overseeing projects and side tasks to improve production efficiency.
Responsibilities :
Provide administrative assistance to the Production Team, including data entry, reporting, documentation management, and submitting electronic approvals
Maintain and update production records, logs, and other essential documents that are required by our Customer
Coordinate and assist with internal and external audit preparations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Work closely with quality and compliance teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions
Oversee inventory processes to ensure accurate tracking and management of materials
Assist in inventory audits and reconciliation efforts to minimize discrepancies
Manage the tracking and maintenance of production assets, ensuring accurate documentation and lifecycle tracking
Work with internal teams to schedule planned downtime in a way that minimizes production disruptions
Communicate effectively with departments to ensure downtime aligns with Production goals
Develop, maintain, and oversee documentation within the Formation Department to ensure consistency and standardization
Work with relevant teams to update procedures, work instructions, and training materials, as needed
Lead or support various projects that enhance production efficiency and process improvements
Manage side tasks that contribute to overall production objectives
Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
1 to 3 years of previous work experience in manufacturing preferred
Working knowledge of ERP and SAP (preferred)
IATF certificate (preferred)
