The Principal Electrical Engineer researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Position Requirements: A Bachelor degree in electrical engineering One or more years experience in medical device product development or equivalent Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on electronic/mechanical skills. One or more years demonstrated experience and expertise with product testing, test equipment, analysis methodologies and test documentation is preferred. Familiarity with standard test equipment. One or more years experience in designing fixture. Experience in testing electro-mechanical systems is a plus. Knowledge of IEC 60601 international standards. Nice To Have: Analysis of schematics and PCB design Conducted DVT Design Verification Testing Design and verification of medical electrical equipment.
