Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical testing and predictive/preventive maintenance programs at multiple power generation plants throughout Georgia. General responsibilities include:
Planning major equipment outages
Coordinating the design, selection and installation of major new equipment and systems
Oversee Electrical Testing and Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Programs
Review and monitor annual electrical inspections
Serve as the technical expert on electrical power engineering and predictive and preventive maintenance.
Provide business, administrative, and technical support for plant managers and other personnel as needed, including the design of new plant systems or modifications to existing plant systems.
Planning, budgeting, and performance analysis for facilities
Review of drawings, specifications, design memoranda, etc., to generation projects in development or under construction.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering or engineering technology (preferably BSEE)
Technical and business knowledge of generating plant operations, performance, and economics.
6+ years minimum experience related to engineering and preventive and predictive maintenance in an operating commercial electric power generating plant
Experience planning, budgeting, preventive and predictive maintenance, and maintenance analysis. Professional Engineering (PE) license - required within one year of date of hire
Level II Thermographer or Level II Vibration Analyst certification desired null
