Position Summary
Assemble electrical portion of automated machinery following provided
layouts & schematics using your own tools. Less than 20% Global travel
installing equipment in our manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
Follows all safety procedures as set forth by CTS.
Proper assembly of the power distribution, communication wiring on
automated assembly machinery.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Assembly: Install mechanical and electrical components according to
engineered blueprints.
Programming: Program and calibrate automation sensors to meet
specific operational requirements.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical issues.
Collaboration: Work with engineers to design custom automation
solutions.
Testing: Test and validate the functionality of newly built
machines.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of assembly layouts,
modifications, and repairs.
Compliance: Ensure all machines comply with safety standards and
regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in building automation
machines.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering
principles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical
drawings and schematics.
Troubleshooting Ability to diagnose and repair automation machines.
Familiarity: Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and
other automation technologies.
Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to Detail: Precision in work and attention to detail.
