Cimarron is seeking Senior Electrical Engineers to serve as technical leads
supporting the Orion program in Highlands Ranch, CO. Join the team
supporting NASA's Orion spacecraft, a critical part of America's
deep-space exploration efforts! Orion is designed to carry astronauts
farther than ever before, serving as the backbone for missions to the
Moon, Mars, and beyond. The selected candidates for this opportunity will
lead and perform rack-level ground support equipment (GSE) electrical
engineering for a variety of electronic components, including digital and
analog circuitry, vendor-supplied or custom-designed card sets,
COTS/MOTS computers, processors, inter-processors, network switches,
firewalls, wiring, cable connections, and console/data interfaces.
Key Duties:
Lead technical efforts for rack-level ground support equipment (EGSE)
electrical engineering.
Oversee and support the design, integration, testing, and
troubleshooting of EGSE components.
Develop and maintain electrical engineering drawings using Creo Parametric
and/or Zuken applications.
Ensure compliance with electrical design standards such as EMS200.
Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FFMEA) and troubleshoot
electrical systems.
Manage hardware component calibration, manufacturing, and final assembly.
Generate and maintain electrical design documentation, including operations
and maintenance procedures.
Conduct rack tip analysis and ensure system integrity.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet mission objectives.

7 or more years of experience, or Ph.D and 4 or more years of experience.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Current or previous L-Code experience.
EGSE Rack & System Engineering (RSE) management experience.
Experience or coursework in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with mechanical drawing checking.
Knowledge of Windows and/or RedHat OS.
Familiarity with NI LabVIEW operations.
Experience in software development and maintenance.
Instructor-level experience or coursework in analog and digital design.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio.
