Cimarron is seeking Electrical Engineers to support the Orion program in
Highlands Ranch, CO. Join the team supporting NASA's Orion spacecraft,
a critical part of America's deep-space exploration efforts! Orion is
designed to carry astronauts farther than ever before, serving as the
backbone for missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
Key Duties:
Perform electrical engineering for rack-level ground support equipment.
Design, assemble, and test electrical GSE components.
Develop and maintain electrical engineering drawings using Creo Parametric
and/or Zuken applications.
Configure and integrate network hardware components for vehicle telemetry
processing.
Troubleshoot electrical ground support equipment and conduct failure mode and
effects analysis (FFMEA).
Ensure compliance with electrical design standards such as EMS200.
Support hardware calibration, manufacturing, and final assembly.
Generate documentation for operations, maintenance, and rack tip analysis.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

Expertise in either Electrical Power Systems (EPS) and/or telemetry
processing and network configuration/network interfaces
Familiarity with Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Designs.
Experience with basic rack assembly.
Proficiency in the production of electrical engineering drawings using Creo
Parametric and/or Zuken applications.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing and final assembly of Electrical Ground
Support Equipment.
Strong understanding of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FFMEA).
Expertise in network processing and configuration.
Experience with telemetry processing, including familiarity with telemetry
COTS.
Ability to troubleshoot Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
Knowledge of electrical design standards such as EMS200.
Proficiency in Windchill (EPDM) for document and configuration management.
Strong electrical drawing checking experience.
Hands-on experience with hardware component calibration.
Ability to develop electrical design documentation, including operations and
maintenance procedures.
Experience in performing rack tip analysis.
Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related experience, Master's
degree and 3 or more years of related experience, or Ph.D and 1 or more
years of related experience.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Experience or coursework in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with mechanical drawing checking.
Knowledge of ground power systems.
Proficiency in software development and maintenance.
Experience with Windows and/or RedHat OS.
Familiarity with NI LabVIEW operations.
Instructor-level experience or coursework in analog and digital design.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio.
