Nokia of America Corporation, AI Software Engineer (Multiple
Positions), Naperville, IL. Perform integration testing and provide
deployment support to offer solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise
segments, as well as Cloud Solutions and Cognitive Services. Evaluate
advanced AI related technology and incubate and integrate such relevant
technology into product proto@type that forms the foundation of future
products. Conduct independent research, concept design, detailed coding
of data processing, ML model training, model evaluation and formulating
the findings of such evaluation of leading-edge GenAI technologies into
recommendations. Integrate relevant AI technologies (such as advanced
machine learning algorithms, high performance data processing libraries)
into early proto@type systems. Accountable for quality and accuracy of
own output. Responsible for contribution to teamwork. Carries out
tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines.
Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business
environments.
SALARY RANGE: \$126,102 -163,800 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in
Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering,
Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Skills required: Python-based coding specifically in the areas of
GenAI-related data preparation and GenAI model training and evaluation;
Mature and early-stage code libraries; Open and commercial applications
in the AI/ML domain; Cloud native computing related to the use of
containers, container orchestration, API standards, advanced logging and
tracing and other microservices-based design principles; and, ML and
GenAI technology for modern cloud-based network.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Naperville,
IL may be permitted up to 50%.
Skills may be gained through experience or academic coursework.
Qualifying education, coursework, and/or experience may have been gained
concurrently.
