Job Title: Assembler Product Builder
Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler reports directly to the Manufacturing/Production Supervisor. This role involves assembling units according to required specifications using various tools and equipment, interpreting blueprints and sketches, and ensuring the quality of assembled products.
Responsibilities
Use different tools and equipment to assemble units as per required specifications in a production line.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and written instructions from engineers to assemble parts or products.
Assemble bracketry, frames, or perform minor soldering of component parts to boards or connectors.
Review and identify faulty parts during the assembly process, test assembled parts or products to ensure functionality and quality.
Perform standard assembly procedures, rework, and repair on manufactured equipment and products.
Follow established safety procedures.
Provide assistance to expert level assembly mechanics on larger projects.
Essential Skills
Ability to follow directions carefully and possess basic reading skills.
Technical knowledge of equipment and tools.
Manual dexterity, good eyesight, and overall good health.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet production standards.
Experience in hand tool usage, wiring, and assembling parts to blueprint specifications.
Proficiency in reading metrics and making appropriate bends and cuts.
Experience with wiring up to schematics, electromechanical assembly, and blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year of experience preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
Technical or vocational education or training preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and climate-controlled. The standard working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
