Program Assistant / Administrative Assistant
Location: New Haven, CT
Pay: $22/hr

We're seeking a Program Assistant to provide essential administrative and operational support for the South Central One-Stop System , assisting the Regional Director and staff. This role is perfect for a multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain filing systems for TANF and WIOA materials, ensuring compliance with regulations
Track, update, and organize files, supplying information or removing documents as needed
Collect WIOA eligibility documents and schedule intake appointments with Career Advisors
Provide front desk coverage, answering calls, greeting visitors, and assisting job seekers
Support leadership with administrative tasks and special projects
Perform additional duties as needed to meet business needs
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma required (clerical experience preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently while collaborating with a team
Customer service skills to support job seekers and career center visitors

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
