Position Summary: The Electrical Department Manager (DM) Technical is
responsible for the direction and supervision of professional, and technical
job groups. The DM coordinates project priorities, staffing schedules,
budgets and staff assignments to ensure clients are provided the best design
capabilities to meet their needs. The successful candidate will lead
electrical design teams and supervise assigned members to meet established
objectives, as summarized below. Experience with power generation

What You Will Be Doing:
Supervise, develop, and mentor staff members to meet established
objectives. Monitor key performance indicators for the department including
utilization, project performance and member development.
Serve as the Project Engineer on key department projects.
Recommend department plans, programs and resources, including staff
budgets and capital expenditures.
Recommend hiring, salaries, promotion, transfer, demotion and
termination of staff members.
Recommend discipline lead appointments for project team assignments.
Accountable to attract, retain, and develop talent within the
organization. Supports the objectives established for attracting,
retaining, and developing talent of department members.
Responsible for supporting designated members to identify career development
objectives, conduct performance reviews and any performance related actions
for assigned members as needed.
Responsible to provide technical expertise and support for assigned members
within the department.
Support the Market Leader in direct selling including lead identification,
client contact, and technical proposal writing.
Oversee the way department staff execute standards, procedures and policies
established by the Company. Recommends department and group workflows,
standards and procedures.
Design and layout of the following: power plants, microgrids and power
distribution with medium and low voltage systems, switchgear and motor
control centers; computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems;
convenience power, lighting systems, grounding, and lightning protection
system
Design of schematic and wiring diagrams; preparation of specifications for
equipment and systems
Report preparation; determining code requirements; and performing and
reviewing design computations.
Manage a design budget and schedule
Proficient developing engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform and check engineering calculations.
Sizing, selecting, and specifying electrical equipment and coordinating
information with vendors.
Perform project field site visits.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or
university
Licensed P.E. with a Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software
Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project and industry needs
Base Compensation: $155,000 - $175,000

salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will
be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience,
geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices.
Stanley's Approach to Flexibility
While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time
basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two
days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a
flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible
roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate
will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
