Payroll Coordinator

JOB DUTIES:

Ensure HHA timesheets are processed weekly.
Address discrepancies with appropriate department for resolution.
Process new employees into payroll system (BDB).
Update payroll system with employee change of address.
Scan timesheets into system.
Communicate with HHAs to ensure timesheets will be received timely.
Responding to payroll related inquires to both internal & external staff in a timely manner.
Prepare and monitor vacation and sick day accruals.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as they relate to payroll.
Provide instruction to caregivers on how to utilize the clock in system effectively (via telephone, in person, and during orientation and in service training).
Ensure accurate processing of all mandatory and voluntary deductions as well as direct deposit request.
Report any clock-in issues to Compliance Officer that require investigation or disciplinary action.
Communicate with vendors and contracts as needed.
Manage no timesheet report by following up with HHAs with outstanding timesheets.
Resolve all prebilling related issues including unbalanced and overlapping visits.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in an office environment with regular exposure to staff and client elements and occasional stress.

CONFIDENTIALITY: This job requires use and analysis of the following information:

Client history or status, physical/emotional assessment or clinical data
Client billing, financial status and insurance coverage
Personal data on employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven people skills
Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations and Joint Commission Standards for home care
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively in both the oral and written form
Understand how a licensed agency functions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
