What Administration contributes to Cardinal Health
Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities.
Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of their assigned work team. May assist executives in budget preparation, record maintenance, and generating reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Uses company software to compile and generate reports, May design processes to enhance work flow. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.
Responsibilities
Manage the calendar of Director including scheduling and coordination of meetings, conference calls and travel.
Perform a variety of general administration tasks in addition to internal and external communication, visitor hosting, meeting room prep, break room supplies etc.
Receives and relays telephone messages from internal and external sources
Obtains and organizes information for use in conferences, speeches, and reports as requested by the senior leader
Engaged with site security, regulatory, training, and employee activities
Works on and manages projects as assigned by the senior leader(s)
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience, preferred
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
Prior experience with Microsoft Office application (excel, word, PowerPoint)
Computer literacy and warehouse systems
Excellent verbal, written and computer skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
