Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
We are currently hiring for the electrical sub-assembly department. In this role, you will be responsible for building small electrical components and motors that will be sent to the final assembly area for integration into larger builds. You will use hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly of steel parts while working off written work instructions and basic prints. Experience in electrical assembly or with motors is preferred.
Responsibilities

Follow written work instructions and basic prints.
Ensure quality and accuracy in assembly processes.
Communicate effectively with team members.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
Assembly experience
Mechanical aptitude
Experience in a production environment
Basic shop math skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Electrical assembly experience, motor repair experience, or relevant manufacturing experience
Strong attendance and tenure
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Detail-oriented
Experience with small motors, lawn mowers, tape measures, manual punch press, and manual drill press
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Experience in mechanical and general labor tasks
Wiring and electrical troubleshooting skills
Motor assembly knowledge

The company is currently very busy and profitable, leading to bonus checks between $600 and $1000 for the last 6 months.
Work Environment
The work environment is an industrial setting where the temperature changes based on the weather outside. Employees should be comfortable working in a setting that can be dirty, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes or airborne particles, and loud noise levels. Appropriate attire is recommended: warm clothes in winter and cooler clothes in summer. The ideal candidate will have experience in a shop environment rather than a semiconductor or clean room setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FOREST GROVE, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
