Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our billing processes and providing support for audits, subpoenas, and other documentation needs. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and knowledge of medical office procedures.
Responsibilities
Collect and organize documents required for audits, subpoenas, and other legal or regulatory purposes.
Learn and perform rebills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing procedures.
Answer phone calls and provide assistance to clients and internal teams regarding billing inquiries.
Triage billing queues, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely resolution of billing issues.
Participate in weekday training sessions until fully prepared to work independently, as no other staff will be present in the office on Sundays.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in computer applications and software.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with medical office procedures and billing practices is preferred.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
Work Environment
Training schedule: Monday through Friday - 9am - 5pm.
Regular schedule: Sunday through Thursday - 10am - 6:30pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
