Description
Assist in the preparation, presentation, and recording of required occupational safety trainings for 50 craft and 3 safety employees.Documentation to include email traffic and uploading training rosters on Safety website. Includes monthly review of safety trainingmatrix for upcoming needs and accuracy.Assist with maintaining data for incident and injury reports and trending analysis. Maintain documentation files for accidents andincidents on Safety website tracking tool and SNR quarterly safety presentation.Attend annual safety site visits, annual facility inspections, and project meetings as required. May include long days and overnighttravel. Accurately enter findings and corrective actions into Maintenance tool and document project status in Safety websiteracking tool.Support and administer the filing and record keeping system on Safety website including the technical library (OSHA/Consensusstandards) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).Support the organization's motor vehicle safety program lead by maintaining the data on commercial driver's license (CDL)requirements for 30 government vehicle operators in the tracking tool and records within 14 business days. Maintain annualdefensive driving and motor record disclosure report data for 200+ government vehicle operators.Gather weekly craft safety meeting notes from nine field crews via email for reporting on Safety website. Report status of trainingcompletion monthly to Safety Manager.Maintain first aid supplies for 3 first aid stations within the Folsom regional office. Review for expiration and orders refills.Collect safety team's schedule and distributes to stakeholders.After receiving Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) testing training provided by Safety team, test 5 AEDs at Folsom officeand monitor monthly maintenance tracking tool for all field 45+ AEDs.
Support staff to update approximately 75 environmental compliance plans annually, such as Spill Prevention Control andCountermeasure (SPCC) Plans and Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) database in the California Electronic Records System(CERS).Coordinate with staff to update the Power System Environmental Manual (PSEM), including updating maps and other mixed mediadocuments annually.Initiate updates from key stakeholders, and review, edit, and distribute documents in the Program Manager's Monthly StatusReport.Provide field administrative support for Environmental department, including craft trainings and site visits, and prepare siteinspection notes received from staff.Assist in the preparation, presentation, and recording of required environmental trainings for SNR employees and contractors.Documentation includes email traffic, uploading training rosters on Environmental website, and distributing required certificates ofcompletion. Provide environmental orientation training to all new federal employees.Review training matrix for upcoming needs and accuracy, and ensure spreadsheet captures correct training renewal requirements.Include surveillance of computer-based trainings. Upload new training plans to the HMBP CERS database to document training inaccordance with environmental regulations.Initiate input from Environmental team to update the Environmental budget, finance, procurement, and invoicing information.Support environmental staff with obtaining monthly accrual information.Coordinate with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Specialist to develop and maintain a daily tracking system forcurrent and completed projects and reviews. Includes distribution and collection of review items from the Environmental team andtracking project requests and e-mail.Assist staff with environmental specific tasks, including preparing batteries for proper disposal.

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
