Disney Ad Sales Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Operating Expense team, reporting to the Manager, Ad Sales FP&A. The SFA will coordinate with internal partners to help deliver on the strategic, financial and operational goals of the business. The SFA will support Ad Operations, Sales Enablement & Communications, Programmatic, Research, Sports Sponsorships, Integrated Marketing, Production, Client Hospitality and Overhead. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully partner with and clearly communicate between the ad sales organization and the finance organization.
Responsibilities of the Role:

Partner with Finance team and business owners to track spend, update quarterly forecast models and prepare management reporting for executive leadership

Meet with business stakeholders periodically to review variance analysis for Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), forecasts, quarter closes and other analysis as required to Planning, Controllership, Corporate and Business Unit Finance teams

Create meaningful change by identifying and implementing new efficiencies and process improvement for all cost planning models (i.e. report standardization, invoicing, approvals, budget tracking, etc.)

Assist in process of creating presentations to support executive decision-making

Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting tools and models

Ad hoc analysis, pro formas and adjustments of cost expenditures
Basic Qualifications

2 to 5 years of related experience and good understanding of financial modeling & ROI analysis, preferably in a media environment

Strong working knowledge of financial planning and accounting

Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen

Proven ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of management

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint proficiency

Be detailed-oriented, self-motivated and flexible

Be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision on day-to-day tasks and analyses

Demonstrate professional excellence, integrity and dependability

Be able to multi-task and work well with others in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications

SAP and Cognos knowledge preferred or knowledge utilizing similar financial reporting tool(s)

Work experience within the ad sales industry would be considered a plus
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $108,200 to $132,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
