Responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
Handle sensitive material in a confidential and time-sensitive manner
Perform light book-keeping
Generate reports
Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
Manage calendars, conference calls, and meetings
Assist with travel request approvals and process expense reports
Cover reception desk when required
Interact with students and potential students when needed
Function as the liaison among all Departments associated with the program and coordinate with various members of the Department
Requirements of an Administrative Assistant
2+ years of administrative experience
2 years of college or equivalent
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Team player, who is able to assist different departments
