Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Von Ormy, Texas. This role is within the manufacturing industry, and you will be tasked with assisting in the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, and working collaboratively with various departments.
Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
Accurately maintain customer credit records
Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts
Review invoices for accuracy, matching details with purchase orders and receipts
Enter invoice information into the accounting system, ensuring timely posting of all transactions
Prepare and schedule payments for approved invoices, adhering to company policies
Communicate with vendors about payment inquiries, resolving discrepancies and answering questions
Reconcile accounts payable transactions, keeping all records accurate and up-to-date
Support the accounting team during month-end and year-end closings, including reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers
Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Online, and Expense Reporting Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations
Experience in executing Check Runs efficiently
Ability to accurately code invoices for appropriate categorization
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated experience in Invoice Processing and its associated tasks
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
Familiarity with Quickbooks Online for financial management and reporting
Experience in preparing and submitting Expense Reports in a timely manner
