Job Description
Position Overview
The Associate, Renewable Procurement will be a senior individual
contributor responsible for supporting commercial procurement strategies
and executing commercial negotiations for Utility Scale Solar power
generation equipment in support of Invenergy\'s development,
engineering, and construction activities. Responsibilities include
supporting strategic supplier relationships, tracking supply chain
requirements, and negotiating and administering critical supply
agreements in support of Invenergy\'s project needs. This role reports
to the Solar Procurement Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support commercial negotiations for power generation equipment
supply contracts for utility scale solar power generation equipment
(e.g.,modules/trackers/inverters/etc...). Ensure that terms and
conditions are in line with market expectations and align with all
applicable project agreements including construction agreements,
project sale agreements, and operations and maintenance (O&M)
agreements.
Serve as an internal point of contact for matters related to
project-specific equipment supply agreements. Maintain and update
all contractual files in a centralized contract repository.
Support the development of Invenergy\'s purchase agreement forms and
templates. Drive regular updates and process improvement initiatives
based on changes in project needs and requirements as well as a
continual understanding of market terms and conditions.
Collaborate with the engineering procurement, project engineering,
construction, sourcing and operations teams to analyze procurement
options and to assist in making equipment supply recommendations
that best position Invenergy\'s pipeline of renewable energy
projects.
Required Skills
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Law, Finance, Supply Chain
Management, or related discipline
3 or more years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing,
contracting or a related field
Proven and influential verbal and written communication skills
Commercial negotiation skills, with an understanding of the legal
aspects of procurement
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, time
management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to negotiate
multiple high value, high risk equipment supply contracts
simultaneously while fulfilling project stakeholder contractual
requirements and maintaining projects schedules.
Demonstrated passion in renewable energy.
Preferred Experience
General understanding of solar PV modules, solar inverters, or
trackers is a plus.
Experience with contract administration or management for CAPEX
procurement is a plus.
Experience as a paralegal or a paralegal certificate is a plus.
Base Pay
\$90,000 - \$105,000 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 27.5%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for
the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining
base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position
and the candidate\'s experience, education and skills.
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also
include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are
