Our team is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join them. You will report to the Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.
To be considered for the Manufacturing Engineer opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of aerospace materials, processes, and industry standards (e.g. AS9100) preferred
Experience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools (SolidWorks preferred)
Familiarity with CNC machining, composites, and additive manufacturing processes is a plus
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
Process Design and Improvement: Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance with aerospace industry standards
Production Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and production schedules
Tooling & Equipment: Design and select appropriate tools, jigs, and fixtures to support manufacturing processes and improve production efficiency
Technical Support: Provide hands-on support to the production team for troubleshooting manufacturing challenges and identifying root causes of defects
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality team to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and customer requirements
Collaboration: Work with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new product designs and drive design-for-manufacturing initiatives
Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, increase throughput, and improve safety
Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste
Data Analysis: Utilize data and metrics to monitor production performance and drive improvements

Salary Range:
$80,000- $85,000/year, based on experience
