Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility-related machinery and equipment.
Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.
Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.
Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs through the use of EAM.
Essential Skills
2-3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
Proficiency in repairing and troubleshooting hydraulics, bearings, shafts, and performing preventative maintenance.
Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell), electrical repair, and controls work.
Mechanical skills including changing motors, pumps, and repairing mechanical components.
Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals.
Familiarity with using EAM for maintenance reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with extrusion lines and value-added processes such as splitting, cutting, heat sealing, and forming.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.

Work Environment
Expect to work 40-45 hours a week, with one weekend shift every two months. You will be working with one technician and the plant manager in a larger, cleaner facility with a total of 35 employees.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $66560.00/yr.
