ATI Huntsville Ops is seeking to fill a Maintenance Preventive Maintenance Coordinator/Panner position. If you are looking for an opportunity to support a growing world-class manufacturing company with multiple manufacturing operations, then this position is for you!
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling and managing the preventive maintenance program for company equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with little to no supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
This Maintenance Preventive Maintenance Coordinator/Planner position will learn to develop variety of preventive maintenance and coordination skills in a real-world material manufacturing environment which includes:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program for manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Create, schedule, and track PM tasks using the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime while ensuring PM tasks are completed efficiently.
Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and optimize PM schedules.
Coordinate and procure necessary parts, tools, and supplies for scheduled maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with maintenance technicians to assess work priorities and assign tasks accordingly.
Support continuous improvement projects by identifying and implementing maintenance best practices.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel on PM procedures and best practices.
Comply with all ATI health and safety regulations and practices.
Requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, maintenance planning, or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance principles, reliability practices, and Oracle CMMS software.
Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with maintenance software.
Understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations in an industrial setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in maintenance planning, reliability, or related fields (e.g., CMRP, PMP).
An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigma methodologies.
Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
Combination of office and manufacturing floor environments.
Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods as needed.
