Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Test Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through meticulous testing and debugging processes. This position operates on a 4/10 schedule: 1st Shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with potential work on Fridays. Quarterly bonuses and annual pay increases are provided.
Responsibilities
Perform debug and test assemblies to component level using block diagrams and schematics.
Maintain and upkeep testers.
Troubleshoot operator problems and collaborate with leadership on training and process improvements.
Communicate issues to Test Engineer and/or leader.
Assist in conducting experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
Recommend additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers.
Essential Skills
1-3 years of experience in electronics.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.
Computer skills including ERP, ATP (acceptance test plan), and MAC address experience.
Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in electronics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work with diverse groups.
Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily sitting with a mix of standing. The manufacturing facility is both AS9100 and ISO certified, working on military and government projects that may require top secret and ITAR clearances. The facility is clean and fast-paced.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA ANA, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
