Description
Robert Half is seeking a Medical Records Clerk for a healthcare organization in Downtown Portland (parking provided). This role is perfect for someone with medical administrative experience who enjoys organization, detail-focused tasks, and supporting a fast-paced medical office.
Key Responsibilities:
File and organize patient records both electronically and physically.
Scan, label, and upload medical documents into the EMR system.
Respond to records requests from patients and third-party agencies.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure all HIPAA standards are met.
Assist with audits and internal file reviews.
Requirements
Previous experience in a medical clerical-focused capacity.
Familiarity with EMR systems; Epic knowledge is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
