Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Systems Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of designing and engineering industrial manufacturing equipment. This role involves electrical system design, PLC/HMI programming, project management, and providing manufacturing support. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Electrical Schematics: Create detailed electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
Bill of Materials: Assemble comprehensive electrical system bill of materials.
Control Program Development: Develop and implement control programs for industrial PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
Project Management: Ensure timely completion of projects through effective management and scheduling.
Customer Support: Provide troubleshooting support to customers for machine-related issues.
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 7 electricians, fabricators, and panel builders.
Collaborative Design: Work closely with the mechanical engineering team to design machine functions and operations.
R&D Support: Contribute to research and development projects.
Travel: Occasionally travel for installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer facilities.
Required Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in 3D modeling, AutoCAD, and engineering of industrial manufacturing equipment.
Control Systems: Proficient in Allen Bradley and Schneider Electric control systems.
Programming: Skilled in PLC and HMI programming.
Project Management: Strong project management capabilities.
Mechanical Design: Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design.
Additional Qualifications:
Programming Experience: Experience with Allen Bradley and Schneider Electric control systems and software.
Electrical Design: Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing electrical power and control systems.
AutoCAD: Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
