Electrification-Automation-Digitalization is looking for a
Field Service Engineer with direct experience in servicing integrated
industrial solutions with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Systems technologies
for the Marine, and Oil & Gas industries.
Travel to customer sites to resolve issues, test, maintain,
and commission Siemens Energy drive control systems!
How You'll Make an Impact
Youwill commission customized drive solutions, maintain, and fault findpropulsion, drilling drive, and pumping systems onboard marine vessels.
Gainknowledge in Siemens Energy solutions, collaborate with designers to test,commission, troubleshoot, and update system drawings.
Yourproficiency will be needed in planning workload and specific tasks, andyour drive toward timely completions.
Mostlydomestic with some international travel to other Siemens Energy andcustomer facilities is required (up to 80%) with international training apotential requirement.
Youwill successfully implement technical solutions to ensure flawless systemoperations.
Youwill determine and resolve client issues swiftly, ensuring exceptionalcustomer satisfaction!
What You Bring
RequiresBS in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years experience in Marine or relatedfield.
Hands-onVFD experience is required with a background in Drive / Motor SystemSolution Design or Service/Commissioning.
Willingand able to travel 80% of the time.
Automation/SCADAprogramming is a plus.
Experiencein Marine, Drilling, or Offshore production is preferred .
Familiaritywith North American and international codes and standards, OSHA, andsafety and lock-out / tag-out procedures is preferred,

This job may be based in Seattle, Washington.Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paidtime off and holiday pay. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html .The base salary range for this position in Seattle, Washington is $89,000.00 -$135,000.00 and the annual incentive target is 10% of base salary.
Specific offers are determined by variousfactors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs.Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensationdepends on each individual's qualifications.
