Ballard Spahr is seeking a Rate Implementation Supervisor who is responsible
for leading the execution and setup of a variety of pricing arrangements in
the firm's financial system 3E. The supervisor will oversee the team's
workflow to ensure compliance with client rate agreements, collaborate with
the billing and pricing teams, identify opportunities for continuous process
improvement, and mentor team members to optimize performance. This hybrid

Your Role:
As a Rate Implementation Supervisorwithin our Practice Administration Team,
you will:
Supervise, mentor, and work alongside a team of implementation specialists.
Ensure that pricing arrangements are set up promptly and comply with the
profitability analysis performed by the pricing team.
Develop and maintain documentation and processes for rate implementation.
Maintain and update pricing arrangements.
Support the billing team in determining correct rate arrangements and ensure
they are accurately reflected in the billing process.
Collaborate with matter billing lawyers and legal administrative assistants to
ensure rate arrangements align with client agreements during the matter
opening process.

Required Experience:
An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
preferred. Six plus years' experience as a billing/pricing analyst, or
equivalent position, preferably in a law firm environment. A high degree of
proficiency in the firm's computer applications and document management
system, including but not limited to MS Office (Word, Outlook,
Excel, PowerPoint; experience with PowerBI or other relational databases
and/or OLAP technology strongly preferred). 3E experience is a major
plus, but not necessary. The ability to demonstrate effective management
skills by leading and motivating a team of implementation specialists.
