Full time year-round position
LOCATION: Fergus High School
HOURS: Evening shift with some weekends required during the school year and day shift during the summer months.
WAGE: $14.61/hr
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the uninterrupted and comfortable operation of the assigned school facility, ensuring that the standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety and security are met.
DUTIES:
Performs scheduled housekeeping and maintenance duties as required
Operates the buildings mechanical and electrical systems as required.
Maintains a safe building. This includes cooperating with inspecting agencies, the use of good safety practices, and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
Assists in setup of school sponsored events as well as events when facility is rented by the public.
Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with the administration, staff, students, and the public.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma or HiSet
Previous custodial and supervisory experience preferred
Experience working with children preferred
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
