Our customer, an award-winning international travel company, is looking for a talented Key Account Manager to join their team. With offices worldwide, they are known for their exceptional culture and passion for creating unforgettable travel experiences.
This role is ideal for an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong network, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to drive new business. This is a home-based field role covering the Mid-Atlantic States, including Delaware, Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Job Description:
In this role, you will manage and support existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities. You will build strong customer relationships with travel professionals and provide strategic support, industry expertise and guidance to maximise revenue.
- Drive sales through travel agencies, advisors, and wholesalers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while identifying new business
- Meet revenue targets and manage budgets effectively
- Promote company products through meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, collateral requests, and co-op proposals
- Train, support and motivate travel advisors to increase sales and engagement
- Develop and adjust strategic sales plans based on performance analysis and market trends
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain regular communication with management, providing market insights and competitive analysis
- Stay informed on industry trends, educate customers, and contribute to improving company offerings
Experience Required:
- Experienced Business Development/Regional Sales Manager within the travel industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, database management, and reservation software
- Strong organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure
- Professional and service-oriented, with a calm and composed manner
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Skilled in problem-solving and handling conflict in a professional manner
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for trade events and sales presentations
- Willingness to travel as required
