As a Distribution Associate, you will:
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean vehicle, daily driver logs, and weekly vehicle inspection reports
Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
Load and unload Summit trucks
Safely deliver products to customer locations.
Provide exceptional service to all customers.
Ability to use iPad to review orders and collect signatures
Report all delivery issues and concerns
Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
Ensure the warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholding Summits commitment to a safe workplace.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent driving record
At least 21 years of age
Valid Drivers License
Time management - strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
Flexibility - the ability to effectively adapt to change
Strong customer service orientation
Beneficial Skills and Experience
At least a year of previous driving experience
iPad or tablet experience
Customer service experience
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
Aptitude for learning
Physical Challenges
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment
Ability to operate commercial vehicles
