Overview
We are looking to hire a Quality Manager who will be responsible for
all quality assurance and quality control functions taking place in the
facility. This responsibility includes identification, implementation,
maintenance, and effectiveness review of system controls and functions
to comply with company expectations and objectives. The Quality Manager
will also ensure the facility complies with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO
45001 standards.
Responsibilities
ISO Management Representative for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
standards.
Work with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and
Manufacturing to deliver market leading products that exceed
customer expectations.
Develop, maintain, and improve quality systems for managing
Nonconforming Material, Corrective Actions, Calibrations,
Inspections, etc.
Manage and develop department resources to better support plant
quality functions.
Develop and enhance inspections and tests to effectively assess and
control product quality before it leaves the facility.
Develop, manage, and improve quality documentation including
procedures, standard work, visual standards and work instructions.
Identify and correct critical quality knowledge gaps in
manufacturing and support functions.
Participate and engage in Rapid Continuous Improvement activities.
Produce, review, and communicate quality data, including warranty
data, to various functions including Production, Engineering,
Purchasing, & Management.
Benchmark and adopt best quality practices across business units.
Supplier quality development, including nonconformance
communications and corrective action requests.
Lead / engage in warranty reviews with emphasis on continual
improvement opportunities.
Utilize simple to complex problem-solving techniques to identify and
correct root causes.
Supervisor to quality technicians and inspectors.
Other duties, as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree preferred: Engineering, or other technical degree
with emphasis in mathematics.
7+ years of related Quality Assurance, and Electrical and Mechanical
Inspection experience or a combination of education and/or
experience.
Experience utilizing various forms / @types of measuring equipment
including calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring equipment,
torque tester, etc.
Ability to analyze drawings and interpret specifications and general
GD&T knowledge.
Knowledge and experience utilizing basic and advanced statistical
methods.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills and experience.
Strong teamwork skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills with good
attention to detail.
Understanding of ISO 9001 standard with experience as an ISO
Management Representative.
Strong Computer / Software aptitude
MS Office Suite - competent to expert level on all: Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, & Access
Utilize ERP system: specifically, LN.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM)
desired.
