Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative manages calls received from taxpayers with questions about their accounts and/or taxes being collected. Assist with other tasks to support the team, other business units, perform outbound calls, continued training as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer service via the phone
Utilize knowledge of tax @types collected by company
Utilize knowledge of municipalities and school districts for which company collects taxes
Ability to modify address changes and create new accounts in Keystone applications
Process credit card payments and E-pay payments
Ability to sufficiently memo the company taxpayer service applications
Secondary Responsibilities:
Demonstrated ability to listen and retain knowledge
Ability to accurately and attentively complete detailed tasks
Keep up to date regarding changes in daily responsibilities or job processes
Ability to demonstrate patience
Ability to work under pressure answering 50-100 calls per day depending on call volume
Job Qualifications:
High school graduate or have an equivalency certificate (GED)
Previous customer service telephone experience is preferred
Moderate computer skills
Moderate level research
Problem-solving/Reasoning
Clear communication skills
Able to @type 60-65 wpm
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM; Monday-Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch
Training and temp assignment will be onsite
Must have perfect attendance for the first 5 days of training.
Planned time off needs kept to a minimum and must be provided during the interview process
Punctuality is a must
Pay rate: $16hr. - Temp to hire position.
