Direct Support Professionalsto work in our
homes in Henrico, Chesterfield, and our community-based services.

$1,000 Signing Bonus- Earn after 90 days (no attendance, medication, or human rights violations).
Pay Scale Based on Experience and Certifications:
$15/hr- No proven experience or certifications.
$16/hr- At least 6 months of documented experience.
$16.50/hr- One valid certification (TOVA, Medication Administration, or First Aid/CPR).
$17/hr- Two valid certifications (TOVA, Medication Administration, or First Aid/CPR).
$18/hr- All three certifications (TOVA, Medication Administration, and First Aid/CPR).
$20/hr-
One-to-one support rolewith documented proof of all three certifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Provide medication administration (if certified).
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
Light housekeeping and organization.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with errands and community outings.
Work
collaborativelywith team members, clients, and families.
Manage and redirect aggressive behaviorsusing approved behavioral intervention techniques.
Uphold the
Brighter Day Wayensuring quality care and a positive environment.
Follow all health, safety, and human rights guidelines.
Requirements:
Serious applicants only- We need
reliable, committedindividuals.
Must be comfortable working with clients who may exhibit aggressive behaviors.
Must be able to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
Experience preferred but not required.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist with mobility.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
TOVA certification preferred(training available for the right candidates).
