North Idaho College is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing to lead
our Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) and Practical Nursing (PN) programs.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our
nursing students, maintaining full program accreditation, and fostering
a high-quality learning environment. The Director provides leadership in
curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and program assessment while
working closely with institutional and healthcare partners to align our
programs with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Nursing and at least five
years of nursing teaching experience in higher education or staff
development. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential,
along with experience in education administration, accreditation
processes, and regulatory compliance. The Director must be adaptable,
able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to student success. A
valid Idaho or Washington multistate Nursing License (or eligibility to
obtain one) is required.
