Description
Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in the Greater Tacoma Area to identify a Litigation Paralegal who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role for the right fit!
Location: South Puget Sound
Pay Rate: $25-$33 per hour DOE
Duration: 3+month contract, contract-to-hire
Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5pm
Responsibilities:
Attend to email correspondences, keeping clients updated on their case status.
Draft a variety of legal documents including pleadings, petitions for divorce, and affidavits.
Case Management including, scheduling and adhering to all relevant deadlines.
Prepare for trials by drafting motions and other necessary documents.
Actively participate in hearings and motions.
Requirements
2+ YOE as a paralegal in Family Law
Legal Document drafting experience
Trial preparation
The salary range for this position is $26-32/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
