Job Title: Electric Field Service Technician
Job Description
As an Electric Field Service Technician, you will travel to customer sites to install, repair, troubleshoot, and service servo stamping presses. You will work alongside riggers who will handle heavy lifting and follow blueprints, work orders, drawings, and verbal instructions. You will adjust, fit, and align equipment to customer specifications, and communicate and provide feedback to customers to improve customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites to install, repair, troubleshoot, and service servo stamping presses.
Work alongside riggers who will handle heavy lifting.
Follow blueprints, work orders, drawings, and verbal instructions.
Adjust, fit, and align equipment to customer specifications.
Communicate and provide feedback to customers to improve customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience installing and servicing production equipment.
5+ years of experience in electrical wiring, including wiring equipment/machines up to 480V/control panels.
5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs.
Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron PLCs.
5+ years of experience assembling, building, and rebuilding equipment according to blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with specific PLC brands including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron is a plus.
