About the role:
As a data engineer intern you will work under guidance, as a team member within cross-functional teams applying data pipeline technology, statistical analysis, and optimization to digital solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making.
You will report to the data engineer and be located at our Cranberry location. This position is hybrid with 3 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the entire data science project cycle, including brainstorming, requirements gathering, prototyping, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Bring a fail-fast and experimental mindset to problems using innovative and latest technologies to create proof of concept products.
Under guidance of a data engineer, recommend solutions to problems using AI or other data-driven solutions and help estimate execution.
Communicate and explain their technical work to project mentors and direct management.
Support advanced analytics solutions across broad application areas.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or another analytics field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Complete Sophomore year of college by May 2025
