Job Details:
Work Schedule:** 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. - 10:00
p.m. (approximately) Occasional weekend work if the plant is scheduled
to work.
Job Grade/Pay will be based on level of experience and skillset. SIGN ON
BONUS available (\$5,000- applicable to external, new hires, that have
not participated in this bonus program before.)
Job description:
You will be required to perform preventative maintenance on vehicles,
diagnose failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair and reassemble
parts as necessary, must be able to drive tractors with or without
trailers into and out of the Truck Shop and on the grounds, clean up
tools, parts and the truck shop including spills. Maintain vehicle
records as required, both on paper and computerized, maintain and repair
all fleet equipment, fill out all necessary documents legibly, maintain
D.O.T. records daily, communicate with drivers to diagnose malfunction.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, D.O.T and EPA regulations. Must have own
hand tools (sets of wrenches, sockets, pliers and screw drivers) or be
able to get them within 90 days. Temperatures will vary with the
external environment to include heat, cold, wet, dry and damp conditions
with high concentrations of allergens at times. All other duties as
assigned by supervisor.
Candidate must have previous experience working with diesel engines,
heavy equipment, knowledge of D.O.T. requirements relating to equipment
maintenance is preferred but not required. Have the ability to read and
understand service manuals, the ability to repair heavy duty trucks
(tractor-trailers, brakes and tires, have the ability to repair
forklifts.
Must have a flexible work schedule, be able to communicate effectively
verbally and in writing with all Team Members including management.
Be able to maintain operational records, be able to operate a
moffet/forklift or possess the ability to obtain the proper license.
Must have a valid driver\'s license and a good driving record will be
moving equipment on property.
Requirements:
6 months of continuous work history within the last 6 months. A minimum
of 1 - year related maintenance experience and/or technical
certifications and working knowledge of electricity, power
transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting and
the use of shop tools preferred. Must not own, posses, or otherwise
maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. Animal
well - being background check is required if necessary.

Washington, Benton and Madison counties in AR, Adair County in OK,
McDonald County in MO (within a 50-mile radius of the Green Forest Truck
Shop)
